How to Install Dek-It Mounts

Every boat is different, so every Dek-It install is a little different too. Use this guide to plan yours, check fitment for your mount and pick up the right hardware before you head to the boat.

Mounting hardware: what is included

  • Dek-It Mounts do not come with mounting hardware. Every install and every boat is different, so every install needs different hardware.
  • Cull Keeper and Tool Keeper include stainless steel mounting hardware and a decal. See their install steps below.

Plan your Dek-It install in 3 steps

  1. Work out exactly how your Dek-It Mount will mount on your boat.
  2. Decide what mounting hardware that install needs.
  3. Pick it up at your local hardware store.

Will my fish finder fit?

The single and dual deck mounts, the Dual Low Profile Bow Mount and the dash mounts have hole patterns for multiple brands of fish finder electronics, including Humminbird, Lowrance and Garmin. If needed, you can drill your own holes to get any fit.

Fitment notes by mount

Single Unit Deck Mount

  • Fits nearly all boats with a recessed foot pedal well.
  • Holds one fish finder plus an optional GPS antenna. GPS versions accommodate Humminbird, Lowrance and Garmin antennas.
  • Choose 0.0 degree (flat) or 22.5 degree. The 22.5 degree mount tilts your graph back, getting it out in front of you a bit more and giving your foot more room to work.
  • Size: 0.0 degree is 15.5 in L x 5.5 in W x 4 in H. 22.5 degree is 15.5 in L x 5.5 in W x 4.5 in H.

Dual Unit Deck Mount (side by side)

  • Holds two fish finders side by side on the bow, right where you need them.
  • Adjustable mounting feet allow installation in many different situations.
  • Made from rock solid 1/4 in thick aluminum.
  • Accommodates Humminbird and Lowrance GPS antennas.
  • Size: both versions are 25.5 in long. The 0.0 degree is 7.25 in wide; the 22.5 degree is 7 in wide and 5.5 in tall.
  • Upgrading from a single mount? Single mounts are not adaptable to the dual mounts. To run a dual, replace your single mount with one of our dual mounts.

Stacker Deck Mount and Triple Stacker Plate

  • Stacks two graphs on the bow without sacrificing deck space.
  • The two halves adjust in, out, left and right, allowing fitment in almost any bass boat.
  • Size: upper portion 13 in x 12 in; lower portion 16 in x 12 in.
  • Want three graphs? The Triple Stacker Plate fits any stacker mount. You must have a stacker mount for the plate to work.

  • Size: 8 in L x 3.5 in W.

Single and Dual Dash Mounts

  • The single dash mount fits nearly all boats with a flat dash. The dual dash mount can be installed on many consoles that have a flat face.
  • Mounts your graph higher than in-dash mounting, so the steering wheel is no longer in the way of the screen.
  • Lets you use the gimbal mount that comes with your locator, so you can tilt the screen to cut sun glare.
  • Single dash mount: about 10 in long.
  • Dual dash mount: 24.75 in L x 3.75 in W x 3.25 in T, made from 3/16 in thick aluminum.
  • Recommended: replace your boat's factory dash panel screws with bolts, washers and lock nuts. This keeps rough water from loosening the factory screws.

Ranger Bow and Dash Plates

  • Mounting Dek-It on a Ranger? These dash and bow plates are what Ranger boats need for Dek-It Mounts.
  • Direct fit replacement for the factory plate, which is a weak light duty tin plate unable to support today's electronics.
  • 2018 plates: designed for Ranger L / Icon Series (2018 and newer) boats.
  • 2017 plates: designed for the Ranger ā€œCā€ type dash (like a Ranger 520C).
  • Made from 3/16 in thick aluminum with a durable black powder coat finish.

Installing a Cull Keeper

  • Stainless steel mounting hardware and decal are included. Cull tags are not included.
  • Mount your Cull Keeper in a spot that still lets the livewell door close.
  • Epoxy: you may be able to install with epoxy. A light sanding of the spot helps ensure a good bond. Some livewell doors have foam padding, which will not allow an epoxy install.
  • Screws: you will need a 1/8 in drill bit if you do not install with epoxy.
